Electrician with Design Experience
• Kewdale Location
• Clean workshop based role
• Monday to Friday
An opportunity has arisen for an electrician with design experience to develop their career and assist in both the assembly and design of our products.
We are a leading OEM based in Kewdale producing mine safety and controlled environment equipment sent to over 60 different countries.
As a fully qualified electrician we are seeking an individual with some basic drawing experience who can complete As Built drawings and custom schematics and wiring diagrams in a 2D cad program. For the right person training will be provided.
An addition to this there will be electrical assembly duties of our equipment where you will work with other electricians and technicians in the fit out of our equipment.
Ideally candidates will possess the following:
- A Class Electrician with an EW Workers licence
- Experience with 2D CAD or a similar drawing program
- Understanding of electronics and control systems is highly desirable
- Fault-finding, UPS system experience and an interest in new technologies would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a mine environment (highly regarded)
- Strong work ethic
Salary is negotiable on experience.

Sales Representative
MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments for the mining, tunneling, chemical processing, disaster relief, and biotechnology industries. We specialize in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters, and grow chambers, as well as a range of remote monitoring, tracking, and communications technologies.
To be a success. You will…….
- Meet sales targets through effective planning and budgeting.
- Devise strategies and tactics for new business and new markets.
- Develop and manage existing accounts while identifying other potential opportunities and projects.
- Financial and contractual negotiations and reviews.
- Populate and keep current all sales tools, such as the CRM.
- Regular travel to customer facilities, expos, tradeshows, and company offices, as required (25% travel).
- Submit regular updates and financial reports to the General Manager on sales progress and new business won.
- Commission and train customers on products sold.
Technical Skills we require from you
- A bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 5+ years’ capital sales experience.
- Ability to understand how our products work (electrical, pneumatic, and networking).
- Strong presentation and training skills.
- A thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office, and strong Excel skills.

Production Electrician

To be a success, You will……
- Assist with the fit out of all manufactured electrical products (240-120VAC and 48-12VDC).
- Test and sign off on all electrical equipment (UPS systems, inverters, controllers).
- Make up cables and wiring for Production Technicians to install.
- Liaise with CSA to ensure compliance with CSA 22.1 Electrical Standards.
- Electrical inspection and maintenance of facility and production tools.
- Ensure a high standard of work is maintained and quality control of products.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and document control.
- Adhere to safety standard and promote a safe work environment.
- Acquire and maintain all necessary certifications to operate all machinery and equipment used at the MineARC® facility.
- Ensure housekeeping of MineARC® facilities and other duties as assigned.

- Journeyman Electrical License.

Field Service Technician
MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments to the mining, tunneling, chemical processing, disaster relief, and biotechnology industries. We specialize in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters, and grow chambers, as well as a range of remote monitoring, tracking and communications technologies.
We are currently looking for a passionate Field Service Technician to expand our service team. Service at MineARC revolves around providing quality service and maintenance for our products. The foundation for this is excellent training and troubleshooting.
You will work closely with the Service Manager to provide necessary services or maintenance. You will be responsible for working with the service team to streamline the process of the customer’s needs. We will provide a challenging and rewarding work environment where you will be generously rewarded based on your efforts.
To be a success, You will……
- Travel to customers’ facilities for routine services, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and commissioning.
- Testing and troubleshoot quality defects (RGA’s).
- Assist with the manufacture, packaging and shipment of spare parts and service materials.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and document control.
- Adhere to safety standard and promoting a safe work environment.
- Acquire and maintain all necessary certifications to operate all machinery and equipment used at the MineARC® facility.
- Gather information on customers’ existing products and future needs for the Sales Representative to follow up.
- Assist production with the fit out of manufactured products.
- Perform general housekeeping (5S) of MineARC® facilities and other duties as assigned.
What we require from you……
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical faults
- Ability to train small groups on both operation and service of MineARC products

- Clean (No prior DUI’s) and current driver’s license.

Production Technician
We are currently seeking passionate technicians to expand our team. The role requires an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday. We will provide a challenging and rewarding work environment where you will be generously compensated based on your efforts.
Successful candidates must enjoy a fast-paced team environment, be positive, have a strong work ethic and be able to demonstrate a high level of hand tool skills. You will work closely with the Workshop Supervisor in the assembly of products. You will be responsible for working with the workshop team to streamline the process of the production requirements.
Key responsibilities but are not limited to the following:
- Follow strict safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
- Assembly of electro-mechanical parts on all our manufactured products.
- Ensure a high standard of quality is maintained on all our products.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and document control.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation.
- Maintain 5S practices and help champion improvement ideas to help grow the business.
- Acquire and maintain all necessary certifications to operate all machinery and equipment used at the MineARC® facility.
- Willingness to travel on occasions throughout North America and Canada to customers for routine services, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and commissioning.
- Willingness to work overtime on weekdays and weekends to achieve business needs.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, and build time.
- Cross-training to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as needed.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of hand tools, and mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively whether working autonomously or as a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to move/lift 50 lbs. various times over an 8-hour shift, basic math and reading skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Demonstrate leadership and/or followership depending on the situation.
- Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold).
