Workshop Supervisor
MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments and safety technologies for the underground mining, tunneling, chemical processing, disaster relief, and biotechnology industries. We specialize in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters, and grow chambers, as well as a range of remote monitoring, tracking, and communications technologies that allow full integration in heavy industrial applications.
We are currently looking for a passionate Workshop Supervisor to manage up to ten workshop technicians. As a Workshop Supervisor, you will oversee and direct production activities in a manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth and efficient processes, adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, team management, workflow monitoring, and coordination with other departments to meet production targets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Workflow Management
- Supervise daily workshop operations and allocate labor based on production schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of builds according to the production schedule.
- Hold daily entry and exit meetings to track progress.
- Assist in completing the fit-out of all manufactured products as needed.
- Communicate schedule changes to the Production Manager.
Quality Management
- Ensure a high standard of work is maintained and quality control of products.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections; sign off on quality checklists.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Acquire training and certification for all machinery and equipment used in the workshop.
Team Leadership
- Perform toolbox meetings, safety talks, and regular training.
- Mentor workshop technicians by providing consistent feedback.
- Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa.
- Safety and Compliance.
- Adhere to safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
- Ensuring housekeeping of workshop and other duties assigned.
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions with guidance from management if the need arises.
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Uphold MineARC’s 5S program.
Technical Skills we require from you:
- 5+ years in a manufacturing company.
- 3+ years supervisory experience.
- Ability to understand technical products.
- General computing skills including Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel.
- Production scheduling experience.
- A good electro-mechanical technical background.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and technical specifications.

Sales Representative – Mining & Tunneling Industries
MineARC Systems provides safety solutions to the mining, tunneling, petrochemical, and biotechnology industries. MineARC is the global leader in the manufacture and supply of emergency safe refuge systems for the protection of workers exposed to hazardous industrial environments.
We are currently looking for a passionate Sales Representative to sell our portfolio of products within the mining and tunneling industries in the United States. Sales at MineARC revolve around providing tailored solutions to customer problems. The foundation for this is a technical background that brings industry and market knowledge in order to develop current and potential customer relationships.
You will be responsible for developing and obtaining yearly budgets in line with company procedures and targets. You will work closely with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for existing and new products.

Engineering Internship

A successful West Australian company that manufactures safety equipment is looking for a dedicated and successful Sales Manager to promote and sell our products into the mining, tunnelling, construction, and chemical processing industries throughout Africa.
The Role:
This role involves overseeing the African Sales department and cultivating and nurturing customer relations through extensive travel to customer sites and ensuring hands-on engagement with customers to drive sales success in the African region. You will be looking after the African Sales Team consisting of 4 Business Development Managers and assist in the strategic and budget planning of the department.
The African Sales Manager will report directly to the African General Manager as well as the Directors. They will also be an integral member of the Executive Committee which consists of the MineARC Directors, General Manager and Heads of Department; meeting on a weekly basis to discuss major corporate objectives. The Executive Committee is responsible for the direction and day-to-day operation of the business and are required to set the business standards and lead by example.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate service and operator training with your customers
- Proactively prospecting and securing new business opportunities within the African Market
- Maintaining and building Customer / Industry Stakeholders / Mines Department relationships
- Achieving budgeted sales
- Processing new sales leads including preparing and sending quotes and quotes follow up
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sale with the client – payment terms, freight and currency
- Prepare and present tenders and presentations
- Providing excellent customer service, including giving advice and technical information to customers on the company products

About You:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in selling and supplying plant and/ or equipment into the mining, construction and/or similar industries
- Ability to present to all levels within an organisation and at seminars, conferences and corporate functions
- Demonstrated ability to source and maintain customer accounts
- Proven ability in achieving sales budgets
- Experience managing a team of BDMs or Sales staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical aptitude and the ability to the MS suite effectively
