ATEX Corded Cap Lamp - SiriUS
ATEX Corded Cap Lamps from the SiriUS range have been engineered as an intrinsically safe cap lamp, ideal for use in coal mining and explosive environments.
The SiriUS ATEX Corded Cap Lamp is certified for, and complies with, all European essential health and safety requirements for products used in potentially explosive atmospheres.
MineARC’s SiriUS ATEX Corded Cap Lamp differs from other intrinsically safe cap lamps on the market with improved illumination from dual beam LEDs. Dual-beams offer an intense spotlight or wide-beam for dispersed flood light effect. Two beams work in tandem to provide a better field of vision, offering a crisper and more natural light, plus a MAX mode for short-term mixed light of higher intensity.

The SiriUS Cap Lamp features two unique beams; working in tandem to deliver a better field of vision for personnel, and a crisper, more natural light.

The dual-beam operation ensures a crisper and more natural light is projected.
The inclusion of a ‘MAX’ mode allows for short-term, mixed light of a higher intensity. MAX is ideal for providing a brighter mix beam for a short period of time if required, without completely draining the battery.
In addition, SiriUS Cap Lamps boast an impressive improvement to the Colour Rendering Index rating. Colour Rendering Index (CRI) measures – on a scale of 1-100 – the ability of a light source to accurately render frequencies of the colour spectrum, compared to daylight.
Existing cap lamps in the market have an approximate CRI of 70 colour accuracy, however SiriUS features a CRI of up to 90*.
This improved CRI rating allows for a more comfortable user experience and is most beneficial to those relied upon to detect subtle changes in colour, such as those in the geology or electrical field of work.
SiriUS aims to emulate natural daylight as closely as possible.
