Industrial Design Engineer

MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments and safety technologies for the underground mining, tunnelling, chemical processing, disaster relief and biotechnology industries.

MineARC Systems engineer, manufacture and supply industrial equipment and products to operations in over 60 countries. All MineARC’s products are unique and designed to the highest international regulations and standards and are recognised as the industry leader in their field.

Our Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineers are all highly skilled in their fields and work both independently and in teams on a range of custom projects for clients. They are the nucleus of MineARC Systems, designing new products, providing technical assistance to clients, and liaising with industry bodies.

MineARC’s Engineering Department consists of mechanical, electronics and software engineers spanning over Australia, USA and South Africa. All members are highly qualified, motivated and skilled providing cutting edge solutions and designs resulting in quality performing products.

We are currently looking for a creative and driven Industrial Design Engineer to join our team and to manage an exciting project that will revolutionise the safety environment of underground mining and tunnelling industries.

You will have the opportunity to develop your own team of engineering resources to assist you in taking this concept and seeing it through to completion.

We are looking for a strong, results driven leader who has experience in design of products and who thrives on achieving project milestones and is motivated to see this design through to product fulfillment.

This project will require a combination of design, mechanical, electronics and material engineering facets to combine and produce a MineARC world class product. You will be working alongside MineARC’s Engineering Department and in conjunction with MineARC’s Innovation Committee.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will require the following skills and attributes:

• An experienced Senior Engineer
• Proven track record with design and product implementation
• Ability to engage further engineering resources and to utilise within the project
• To follow budgets and milestones.
• Exceptional communication, document control and reporting capabilities.
• 3d modelling
• Has own tools of the trade
• Potentially this role could be performed from home.
